2,500 to 4,999 – Mid-Market. System says “Enterprise” – Happy for your marketing, but seriously, totally irrelevant. Vendors love the traditional angle, but that it total marketing spin, just as “legacy” There are great systems that have been around for quite a bit, and new ones, that are poor.

Going to LTUK2022? My Guide on Which vendors to check out

My gut says they received the tags from the vendors themselves, which if so, tells me that whomever oversees marketing, needs a crash course in marketing their system. Best to purchase multiple modules from them – LMS, Engage and Analytics. I can see them at mid-market too. The analytics are solid.

I personally think what has hurt them in the greater market is the push by so many vendors (some of which are legit competitors) to refer to them as “traditional”, citing how long they have been around. Analytics continues to be a Jekyll and Hyde. Are the analytics worthwhile? Never to be underestimated.

CourseStage by WebCourseworks – Very good system in the association market. They are someone to watch in the association market in 2021. Moodle dominates – from a market share, and user base – it was built first and foremost for Academia, and it is open source, which is free, and so anyone can build a system with it.
