Artificial Reality & eLearning: LEAP Motion Coming soon

The Logical Blog by IconLogic

Back then (in 2010) I noted that we may not be able to carry out full virtual immersion (a la  Avatar ) just yet, but there was a lot we could do to incorporate virtual worlds into our training. Two years later we have already made quite the "leap" toward making full immersion that much more possible.

Is e-learning being flipped out?

Saffron Interactive

Over the last few years there can be no argument that e-learning has come on an awful long way. What started off in many cases as animated PowerPoints has evolved to courses that include animations, branching scenarios, video and in some cases incorporates gaming mechanics and social drivers to increase user engagement. Something that has really caught my eye recently is the increasing popularity of websites such as Khan Academy and Ted-Ed.

Musing on Google’s Power Searching Course and marketing

Jay Cross

Today I completed Google’s Power Searching Course. Do I know any more about search than I did ten days ago? Yes. Capitalization makes no difference but word order does.
