In Lesson One, I showed you that PNG image files are perfect for e-Learning because they remove the characters from their backgrounds. When importing such a file an individual folder will be created (under the root, not under Images), with the same name as the PS-file, and having all the layers converted to PNG images (there is a screenshot later on showing such a PS folder). If, for example, you want to have a children friendly look for your website then use cheeky, colorful images that appeal to kids. Illustration is supposed to illustrate (“serve as an example of”), not decorate. The internet is not an stock image library. Your 4MB high quality stock photo is not suitable for web use.

This would be useful for a company name, for example. This would be useful if you have a particular style you need to adhere to, for example, all lowercase. For example, if you wanted to perfectly left-align an object with some text, you can set the left-hand margin to 0! This way, these words don’t get flagged as misspelled.
