Many of you have to convert old Flash courses to HTML5. But adding text from the old course isn’t as easy because most Flash courses don’t allow selecting text to copy and paste. Use OneNote to Convert Text from Image for Flash to HTML5 Courses. Watch the tutorial on YouTube. I hope that helps.

I’ve been playing around with ideas to get old Flash course content into a new HTML5 course. There are tens of thousands of old Flash-based e-learning courses where people no longer have the source files. All they have are published versions of the course and need to convert to HTML5. Whenever a comparison of eLearning authoring tools is published, Captivate still is considered to be the best tool for creation of software tutorials. It is a purely passive tutorial. Use case: if you want to offer more in-depth explanation to the video tutorial, more control to the learner including KC checks with remediation.

Do Rise courses use Flash? Rise courses do not use flash. They are created solely in HTML5. Where iOS devices weren’t flash compatible, they do love HTML5, so your iPhone and iPad will have no issues with seeing the modules as you intended! Where can I find tutorials for Rise? Chrome (iOS 8 or later).

Having the ability to take care of my health and prioritize the rest of my life is a critical for me, so I want to make sure that as I explore ID, I am steering myself toward work which will allow me to dig in deep and grow my employer’s students, but which also honors my health and free time. A: I wouldn’t learn Flash right now.
