SIMULATION PRESENTATION AND AUDIO

I am trying to import a MP3 audio file into a simulation presentation in Captivate (however it keeps reporting the following error ‘Unable to import audio file ensure that file type is MP3 or WAV and also ensure that the file is not damaged’. I have checked the audio file and it works and it is already in MP3 format – help please.

If you import audio, you choose best for the uncompressed WAV-format over MP3. Only wav files can be edited. If you want to edit an imported MP3-file, Captivate has to expand that file to create a WAV file. You will see 2 files with different format in the LibraryAudio folder in that case.
