Anyone who has used Adobe Connect to host live meetings on the Internet knows that it is a powerful tool for screen sharing, file sharing, marking up documents, chatting, taking notes, and interacting with audio and video. For anyone who is not familiar with Adobe Captivate , it is an eLearning development tool that “enables anyone to rapidly create powerful and engaging simulations, scenario-based training, and robust quizzes without programming knowledge or multimedia skills.” I didn’t get to attend the Adobe Summit or DevLearn 2008 this week in San Jose, CA, and I’m totally jealous of everyone who got a sneak peek of Adobe Captivate 4.   Thankfully, Philip Hutchison posted an excellent overview of all the new features on his pipwerks blog .
