2020 E-Learning & Training Conferences

LearnDash

For professionals in the learning industry (and that includes entrepreneurs, educators, faculty, academic administrators, librarians, and the web developers who work with these professionals), attending an industry conference or expo is a common objective. I’d like to think that e-learning conferences are so popular because those of us in the education industry are naturally drawn toward educating ourselves, and industry events are a great way to make that happen.

#astd2014 Conference recap and trends

Challenge to Learn

Here is my recap of the Washington ASTD ICE 2014 conference. This was my second ICE conference (did Dallas last year), it was huge and it was interesting. This is the main trend I see at the conference. Two ways off doing that faster and more effective are: Leadership development and better retention. During the conference ASTD announced a new name, it is now ATD the Association for Talent Development. But I did love this conference.

Mlearn conference Day 1

Challenge to Learn

At the last 5 or 6 conferences I visited we had a booth at the expo and I had to do one or more presentations. People will have to do things different in order to be more effective. I will blog from the Mlearncon in San Jose over the next three days. I have really enjoyed my first day. I’m here as a participant, not as a vendor.

Devlearn conference 2011: retrospective

Challenge to Learn

I’m back home after a great DevLearn conference. Looking (and reading) back at the conference there are several things that stick out for me. This was my second Guild conference (been to Learning Solutions in March) and one thing that really struck me at both conferences is the atmosphere. Both guild conferences have the feeling of a gathering of peers. For easygenerator it was an important conference too.

ASAE Tech Conference 2014: A Recap

Web Courseworks

Last month, I attended ASAE’s Technology Conference and Expo 2014 , held outside of Washington. DevLearn 2014 Conference Review

eLearning 24-7

The Conference Sessions. Easy and very effective. Greetings!
