By now we’re all pros at working from home — and so are most of the conference organizers we follow with this blog. Although organizers are bullish this year and events are largely in-person, many have an online version or at least a backup plan in case the world goes virtual again.

Competing conference contexts

There are similarities, for example both are great conferences. Both conferences are also tech literate: there was free wifi, and both had a lively tweet stream. There were few people who aren’t reasonably on top of tech for learning, at least conceptually, and more aware of online pedagogy.
