The concept of face-to-face at a distance (first coined by my academic mentor Ray Winders) was that we could more or less duplicate any of the contiguous or co-present learning experiences through technology. This was not strictly true, but we at least came close to achieving the golden goal of equivalency of experience. Unported License.
