For those custodians, the paper version remains the primary document, and the online version is secondary.  For example, the paper documents are scanned and converted to PDF. While aPDF will work in an online world, a PDF is really just a digital replica of the paper document. They look great on paper.

Files must be uploaded in PDF format and cannot exceed 50 MB. PowerPoint will save presentations as PDF files, so this isn't necessarily a problem, but may mean extra work for some users. Since decks are uploaded in PDF form, animations do not convey. Speaker Deck has a relatively streamlined interface, which was nice.
