Last year, using the same programs (slightly older versions), and processes, I published these packages as swf files, and the audio played without any issues. The.wav files were created using Audition 2109.

After I got all my images in order, I inserted each one onto its own slide in Adobe Captivate, ensuring the canvas size was exactly the same as the image dimensions (in this case, 1024 x 768). My friend and Captivate guru, Marnie Bristow , tells me this glitch has been fixed in the latest version of the software.

It is important to know that I am using version 11.0.1.266 (CP2019), Windows version and tested in Chrome/Edge and Firefox. The demo file has two TEB’s on the second slide. I now have a problem where the formatting of my slides has changed substantially and now appear all over the place. But when I run Preview or open the live version there are issues. And when I look at the slide in the published version it is different again. This effects nearly every slide in the project.

Recently one of my colleagues upgraded Captivate to the latest release, 10.0.1.285, and since then whenever she publishes to HTML5 and then launches the index file the project starts and pauses on a blank slide that is NOT part of the project. The problem went away.

In previous versions of Captivate, for this feature to work, Flash needs to be installed on the same machine from where you want to export. This will show a Export dialog in Captivate unlike the earlier versions which show an Import dialog inside Flash. Otherwise it will not load all the dependent swf files.

over older versions of the program is the overall speed of the publishing process. In legacy versions of Captivate, it could easily take 3-5 minutes to publish a moderately-sized project as a SWF.
