Well I made use of Audacity and if you wish to export to MP3 format then you will also need to download the Lame MP3 Encoder plugin as well, all very straightforward. Not everyone in eLearning is an audio engineer, so you probably have come across eLearning audio that needs some work. Audacity is a free eLearning tool that you can download and edit your audio. At their website, you will find instructions that will help you get started. You can even edit out annoying background noise.
