I received a comment from Jesse Ezell that brings up an issue that I've been grappling with and I would love to get some input (comments) from everyone who reads this blog. As an example, take a look at Masie's recent piece. But several people mentioned in the blog world that they liked Masie's piece. Hard to do in audio.

I thought a learning style test was a nice ramp up for an exercise where people had to blog about their own facilitator style - from the idea that it is good to know your own preferences and biases as a trainer/facilitator. The same with blogging. I went looking for a learning style test for an online course.

To get some perspective, I went back to the wisdom of an ‘ancient’ text (paper-based, of course) written by Mortimer Adler in 1940 (a bestseller no less) entitled, simply enough, How to Read a Book.Yes, I know, blogs are not books, — or magazines or newspapers — but wedo read (and often listen) to them and want something from them aswell.
