As you can see in the image below, the original photo I used was too narrow for the slide since the image was 4:3 and the slide was 16:9. And then to fill in the blank area, I duplicated the image and cropped a sliver from one end and stretched it across the slide. Going to Devlearn? The colors would cause streaking.
