I made a simple change to my Blogger template and pressed Save. Surely, there must be a copy of my template somewhere. Now losing your contact list is more serious than losing your blog template, so I resolved to make regular backups offline. Some bug in Google's software then rendered my blog as a complete dog's dinner of code.

YawnBuster is a set of Flash templates that installs as a PowerPoint add-in. It would be good to have a gallery which shows examples of how each template can be used to best effect. Eight templates come with the basic package, which comes in at $240 ($180 for non-profit, education, government).

Before uploading, I exported to PDF from Word (using Lulu’s own PDF template) and this worked fine. I’m pleased with that decision because, although I could have given the paperback version more professional gloss using InDesign, I’d not have been in a good position to move publish on the e-book readers.

Storyline and ZebraZapps: seriously powerful, seriously simple

You can build templates and themes and share these between projects and developers. You can import from PowerPoint or Articulate Studio tools if you need to. Looks like you can manipulate every object on the screen in all sorts of flexible ways, without the need for a scripting language.

It's a desktop tool, it's easy to use fairly versatile as long as you are prepared to work within very strict templates. My best guess is that this is a tool used by Microsoft itself or by one of its contracted developers, and someone suggested making it more widely available. although I couldn't get my test material to play in Moodle).
