I added some more in build states to multistate objects (clicked state) and some advanced actions to also change the state of these buttons if slides had been visited on entry. SWF in Browser works as well. . – Reinstall latest Firefox version. I am using the latest Adobe Captivate Version.

After I got all my images in order, I inserted each one onto its own slide in Adobe Captivate, ensuring the canvas size was exactly the same as the image dimensions (in this case, 1024 x 768). My friend and Captivate guru, Marnie Bristow , tells me this glitch has been fixed in the latest version of the software.

I created a set of SCORM packages for online training purposes, using Captivate 2017. Each file is a series of slides, and each slide has a.wav file that I imported and dropped on the page. The audio plays in Captivate Preview, but when I upload them as SCORM files to Moodle, the audio only plays on the first slide.

One of my most visited blog posts published 7 years ago (Captivate 5, 5.5) is Where is Null? Beware: the embedded movie is a SWF, you need a browser with enabled Flash Player to watch that movie. Everything worked fine for SWF output also in later versions. Solution 1: Using Dummy slide. Example Movie.

It is important to know that I am using version 11.0.1.266 (CP2019), Windows version and tested in Chrome/Edge and Firefox. The demo file has two TEB’s on the second slide. For such a course development Captivate offers 3 workflows: Scalable Projects : you can publish a blank (normal) project to HTML5 with the option ‘Scalable HTML Content’ activated.

Recently one of my colleagues upgraded Captivate to the latest release, 10.0.1.285, and since then whenever she publishes to HTML5 and then launches the index file the project starts and pauses on a blank slide that is NOT part of the project. The problem went away.

I now have a problem where the formatting of my slides has changed substantially and now appear all over the place. But when I run Preview or open the live version there are issues. And when I look at the slide in the published version it is different again. This effects nearly every slide in the project.

When using the Submit All feature for a quiz, up till now it was not possible to localize this popup dialog box (style can be changed using the Object Style Manager): In Captivate 2017, the dialog box whidh appears when you click the option ‘Submit All Messages in Quiz, Preferences has all you need to localize everything. In previous versions of Captivate, for this feature to work, Flash needs to be installed on the same machine from where you want to export. This will show a Export dialog in Captivate unlike the earlier versions which show an Import dialog inside Flash. Clicking on export will export the Captivate project to a FLA file.

I should add I’m working in Captivate 9 and working in a non-responsive project (no breakpoints or fluid boxes. Initially I thought this might have to be exported as a SWF). Here’s a summary of my question – how does Captivate determine the hit box of images and is there a way to adjust to hitbox via javascript?
