I “grew-up&# in eLearning world using Director/Authorware and then moving into Flash/HTML (PPT was “off-limits&# ). Tags: Featured Instructional Design Articulate Flash powerpoint. Interface creation, navigation buttons, LMS tracking, and testing abilities are then typically added to the PPT functionality.

The list does include older tools like Authorware, which are no longer being supported and definitely missing a tool or two. Tags: authoring tools. But this could be a great place for an organization to start sorting through the mess of tools out there. But I think I did get a good smattering -- something new for everyone.

Tagged either under Development Tools or Cloud. I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account.
