Much of the investment was upfront and only the largest companies or companies with the most compliance risk exposure could afford an LMS. Cornerstone’s LMS is ideal for those in the mid-market, Enterprise (5,000 and up), and Large Enterprise space. For a system and a company worth an estimated 1B dollars, the UX for metrics should be impressive borderline unbelievable. I met one attendee who has Saba Cloud and EdCast, so its doable. Absolutely.

Since my Top 10 list of LMS vendors has been posted online, I have received quite a bit of e-mail wondering why the biggest names: Cornerstone On Demand, Saba, SumTotal and SuccessFactors are not on the list. The car company Honda is listed as a best seller. I have some real concerns on what is taking place with Saba today.

CBT Prior to online learning known then as WBT, and then the latter term of e-learning (vendors today, use it to refer to content that is online), there was CBT. Could someone create a course at said company? You could say for everyone learner or just a group of learners, you could do this for every publisher that the vendor offered.

Every LMS vendor should have a standard regarding response times, when they receive an inquiry via the internet. I know of one vendor who responds within 30 minutes of receiving an inquiry.
