Effects are not played fully in SWF, when the effect duration is less than the default effect duration. Autoshape buttons fill and stroke is not retained during upgrade.

That allows you to add overlay content slides, KC slides and can also be combined in a cptx project with other content slides. It is a normal cptx project. Those are SWF-based but will be converted to MP4 when publishing to HTML5. I think about merging with 360 slides, real quiz slides, adding links to other assets etc.

Video - I’ve only used this for one project so far, but it was completely painless. Video needs to be in the FLV format, but Articulate supplies a conversion tool just in case your video editing software doesn’t convert to FLV. Inserting video uses the Insert Flash tool and has the same options as SWF files.

We have used them for several projects, and have found them very effective for development and simple to use. Missing lines in graphs - The PPT graphs sometimes don’t convert properly to Flash, leading to missing lines. However, if your project is graph-heavy, then images may not be a good idea.
