Just as I can’t figure out why vendors love giving you their history as if that is going to sway you on buying a system.

My latest take on those three vendors (plus one) are: Cornerstone On Demand – I have seen the new UI and I like what I saw. While the learning cloud and extended enterprise cloud are purchased by folks, I still see the platform – assuming you get all the modules as a HCM. Lots of potential.

Then Dreamweaver, a tool for designing web sites, rolled out templates for course building. When web links were doable – here comes the fun, the learner clicks the link and goes to a web site, now that is interactivity at its highest level. These two vendors are EdCast and Degreed. Getting back to being unaware, I find the same issue with a few vendors in the learning system space who are really LXPs, but have no idea. It reminded me of the vendors in the space who scream they are not an LMS, even though they hit all the standards of an LMS. . In my opinion, no.
