20 Saba Learning Suite. While the pricing is outrageous and the Saba as a whole seems better suited as a HCM, their learning suite is a better alternative than those who want Cornerstone OnDemand. The downside to Panopto is its lack of skinning and the dual logo. Hopefully this will change. . #20 19 WBT Top Class .

Saba Cloud – Saba is such a wild card here. Saba was once a kingpin in the industry, then dropped down, now, I think they are on the upswing again, so it is a system to keep on an eye on. I admit I was surprised that Cornerstone Learning Suite, Saba, Blackboard, Bridge, SuccessFactors, Linkedin Learning and even Docebo did not. Saba the same thing. Other top support card respondents included ePath Learning, Upside LMS, Digits Glo, MATRIX, and G-Cube. Who Didn’t. That should be a concern and a wake-up call. .

Has a strong deep learning capability with an algorithm (a requirement), but the nice plus is that the admin can change the weights/points and what is and is not required/completed to achieve (some vendors require you to complete content/courses to score plus in the algorithm, thankfully Saba does not). Growth record continues to be strong.

Q : I am curious on why Cornerstone On Demand, Saba and SumTotal do not appear in your top twenty lists even though they appear on other sites as the best products in the market. Saba - A solid system, but IMO (in my opinion) better suited for talent/performance management. So, back for another installment. Am I missing something?

Unicorn LMS, Workday Learning, Degreed, Saba, Torch LMS, Learn Amp. Saba’s machine learning is fantastic, but they haven’t really pushed the envelope beyond that powerhouse of a component. Still NexGen worthy – robust. Steady Grid. Mobile is there, but again, they lack on/off synch. I sit on the fence with them.

I identify the Big Dogs as SumTotal by Skillsoft (yes, that is the actual name), Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba, SucessFactors and Oracle Taleo (although, I ask myself who is using this and if you still are why?). However, I will say this: I like what Saba is doing. The system still – equally as Saba – needs some work.

Similar thoughts are often associated with SumTotal (although they have vastly improved their UI, but they do see themselves at least from my take, and even through a Google search as a HCM, especially after the acquisition by Skillsoft), SuccessFactors, Oracle Learn, Saba, Kenexa and a few others.

Cornerstone continues to improve with each new release and depending on what they extract from Saba, could really shake things up a bit. .
