On top of all that, the LXP vendors (as a whole) pushed a false pretense that the LXP was vastly different than say an LMS. Formal vs Informal. They offered informal learning. A museum type of look, whereas we could add sponsors (it was an association), and folks could click the logo and go to the web site of said sponsor.

I know you are saying to yourself, well they are a LMS vendor in e-learning so they must rock on training. Whoa, you say. for training/L&D/e-learning or whatever.
