I recall a conversation I had last year with some folks from Articulate who informed me that PowerPoint is an authoring tool. Strange, since I could find no evidence, no information from multiple research standpoints, that Microsoft pitches it an authoring tool. Lastly, why is Articulate and Adobe still on the desktop?

Learning Tools – Do these really belong?

For example, how many colleges/universities have their students create projects and post them on an Instagram channel under the name of their school for that LMS? Articulate Storyline (latest version). Because it is not. Higher education where social media tools could be utilized for their students. I can’t recall any.

An extensive development site is included, it is pretty extensive and covers just about everything – from examples, coding and minimum requirements. Anyone who has used Elementor for example, will appreciate this option. Meta Quest for example tells you to map out your room. Other development items are React and GraphQL.

Authoring Tools – With only a small sample of vendors that are SaaS based, pickings are slim. Sure there were exceptions on the desktop side – most notably Articulate Storyline, but overall until desktop vendors see the advantages of SaaS, especially with real time collaboration and peer review, tablets will be slow going.

I only attended a couple besides the one I presented in, and found the information useful. Knowledge search using keywords, phrases in a box to show how to go step by step, in my example it was down with Salesforce.com. If I was using an online ERP platform, HRIS, Salesforce.com for example, this would be a must product.
