The question is becoming more and more common — “Should I use PowerPoint (PPT) or Prezi?” But whereas PowerPoint tends to progress linearly from one slide to the next in a fixed sequence, Prezi uses “paths” to move between content by zooming out to reveal a big-picture overview, or zooming in to show details. Many rapid content authoring tools are either based on or an add-on to PowerPoint (PPT), including: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, iSpring Presenter, Articulate Presenter, Articulate Storyline, as well as Digitec’s own Direct-to-WEB. On the plus side if you have it, it will work with both 32 bit and PPT 2013 and 64 bit and PPT 2013. You can still add transitions and everything else that exists in PPT while creating your mix. It immediately places it into the slide. You can also preview while you are in the editing mode on the slide itself.

Second place, have you used Slide Rocket? Did you know that when you use it, when you upload a PPT presentation to Slide Rocket it strips all the images out and adds them to an Asset Library? Not unless you're prepared to tell me what it is and how its different than any other digital object. Did I mention its automatic?

Imagine someone scrolling through their Facebook feed and coming upon a video. With Camtasia, you can directly import the PPT slides and add them to the timeline just like any other kind of media. As that video auto-starts, they can’t hear it because their sound is turned off.
