Maybe this is their gateway drug to Lectora? It’s not cheap, but server-based collaborative tools do run more expensive than desk-tops tools.

I found that of concern, especially when server crashes were constant. A weird twist to this whole saga is that LTUK in Feb 2020 (and I was in attendance, along with many, many others), was that Trivantis’s booth was pushing their VR tool, with zero mention of Lectora. that needed a system. I say no more. .

If you want to know the security levels, go directly to those hosting sites and you can read about it – the vendors tend to send you the same information anyway; they might increase say (assuming the hosting site is 128 bit AES) to 256 AES, but as a whole – it is right there for your eyes on the hosting server site.

Publish it to the web – which means you can stick it on any server, sans LMS and whalla MOOC city! Oh, you can publish to web and keep it on your own servers and then yada yada – MOOC. Lectora Online is solid but really not anywhere near the Inspire (desktop product) which is a real shame. Guess what though?
