In Sense-making with PKM I described some personal knowledge management processes using various web tools. PKM takes the notion of a personal journal and extends it significantly. Dennis Callahan has a most interesting Posterous site, called LearnStreaming. This is the basis of many blogs in our field and learnstreaming continues to expand with all the new applications such as micro-blogging, social bookmarks, and “life-streaming&# platforms like Posterous.
But hopefully 2009 will be the year when that begins to change. This sounds a lot like a personal learning environment, personal knowledge management (PKM) and personal work and learning environment (PWLE) and PIM. If you care about being relevant and valuable in 2015, you had better be making moves in 2009. So, here goes.
