In Berlin I met with Christopher Benz (he is in charge of online events of the ELearning guild) and we spoke about the differences of an eLearning guild conference (like Learning Solutions and DevLearn) and the online Educa. I’m sorry to say that I’m not a big fan.

Second Life Happenings: CEO Steps Down (again)

Yesterday, Philip Linden (AKA: Philip Rosedale ) stepped down as CEO of Linden Labs (yes again). Bob will lead Linden Lab while we conduct the search. He said many longtime Second Life users are angry at the recent decisions by the company that runs the service, Linden Lab. He has done this before and then come back.

The day after Online Educa

Ellen Wagner, Clark Quinn, and I hopped on the U-bahn, and headed to the German Historical Museum on Under den Linden. We walked up Unter den Linden and caught the U-bahn to Potsdamer Platz for supper. We stopped along the way for glog and gluhwein. It’s biting cold outside. The Christmas Markets are utterly charming.
