Since my Top 10 list of LMS vendors has been posted online, I have received quite a bit of e-mail wondering why the biggest names: Cornerstone On Demand, Saba, SumTotal and SuccessFactors are not on the list. I have some real concerns on what is taking place with Saba today. A LMS should first be a LMS. Oh where to begin.

Folks seem fine with the vendor noting how awesome their support is, without extracting any metrics or verifiable data. . I know I have.

UI and UX is HUGE, and when vendors update their learning systems, guess where they tend to focus last on? And yes, in 2022 – the end of it no less, there are vendors who lack mobile. The Vendors. There are vendors who include a payment gateway for those who don’t have one, but the catch is that they charge a transaction fee along with point of sales per item sold fee.
