That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. I see way too many vendors think a web site is all they need and people will find them.

As noted earlier, I see this with a lot course providers (and aggregators) including Lynda.com, Skillsoft and even the MOOC freebies via Coursera (for example). No vendor could say honestly that their system is the best for you, because they are missing a lot of information. Write vendors’ names on pencils and throw them at the ceiling. So, P2P hits mainstream, okay, quite a few vendors. I see some vendors including a note or comment capability to the content curation, especially with the mobile video. I’ve yet to see this extensive set of options, but I do believe that some vendor (at least a few) will offer some type of capabilities, although not as robust.

What irked my brain on a recent press release was that the vendor announced they would have over 12,000 courses from Linkedin Learning (it is the Lynda.com courses/content) in their (the vendor’s) system. .
