Dear Adobe Community, Currently my html preview/output is not working and I wonder if you can help me with that. Since that change my preview in HTML wont work anymore, I just get this icon indefinitely and it wont load any further. SWF in Browser works as well. Previewing other projects in HTML works fine.

The common way to publish a completed Captivate eLearning video is as a SWF (small web file). When the publish process is complete, you will end up with three files: an HTML file (which is what your learner will need to open the lesson in a web browser), a JavaScript file (called standard.js) and the SWF containing your lesson.

I am attempting to embed short (10 sec) video files to a captivate 2019 project and publish it as an swf file. When viewing the swf file, the videos appear to be attempting to load (i get loader icon indications) but the video never loads. I need this video saved into the swf file, if at all possible.

If you publish your Captivate projects as SWFs, you can combine multiple SWF files into one lesson using the Aggregator. Once added to an Aggregator project, you can publish the combined files as a SWF, EXE file, PDF or HTML. The published Aggregator file will include a TOC using the names of the separate SWF files.

Right now im struggeling to 1) publish my project as a html-only version and get it to work on moodle (optimally with LMS SCORM 1.2). Here I want to publish it in html. From all the publishing advice I’ve read I can anyhow only pusblish it as html. When i delete the.pdf,swf data from the zip, nothing will start.

Regardless of which application you use to create the initial document, you can make it into a form in Adobe Acrobat.   I use Adobe Illustrator to create my documents and then I save them as PDFs. If however, you preview exactly the same project as ‘HTML 5 in Browser’, on the final press of the submit button, instead of taken the user back to the menu, the course advances to the next slide. I published the file first as a swf and Html, then just and html file and I’m getting the same results. I have loaded my folder on a SharePoint site and when I open up the index file it just spins, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I suppose all developers are aware that the final death of Flash Player, SWF output will be there sooner than expected. This gem is only valide for non-responsive projects because responsive projects can only be previewed as HTML. HTML rectangle Play Icon. Saves a couple of clicks… always welcome! Preview Methods.

I have published them in both swf and html. It requires Tabs, Page Up, Page Down and Pause/Breaks. I am able to program them just fine. They work perfectly when I use Captivate 2017 and Preview them with the Project option. Does something need to be on the web server that I might be missing? Please help. Perplexed, Dona Conn.
