Now it's time to change direction a little and challenge the unhelpful binary of PLE versus VLE.

There were many people at a session titled " the VLE is Dead " hosted by James Clay, Josie Fraser, Graham Attwell, Nick Sharratt and Steve Wheeler aka Timbuckteeth :). I was in London to speak at the Learning Technologies Conference at Olympia. I suspect that the worlds of training and education (which collided a few times at the conference) are not converging as fast as many think they are, and LT10UK really was dominated by training and development - and of course that's why most people were there.
