Free Flash Quiz Tools?

I received a question on my post - Flash Quiz Tools - asking about any tools that were free that allowed you to create a Flash Quiz. The only free Flash Quiz Tool that I know anything about is Class Marker - a free flash quiz tool. So are there other free flash quiz tools that I'm missing?

The ‘late adopter’ strategy

So, for anything new, there all-too-frequently seems to be a lot of flash. I realize my strategy is the same, which I learned many years ago (wish I could remember from whom!). The short version is, wait until the dust settles. Let’s evaluate the late adopter strategy. In my experience, a lot more than substance! a pandemic!).

Some of it was pretty dumb – just content or flash cards as learning augmentation – but there were interesting applications. As a side note, the demise of Flash has left us without a good game development environment. Flash is both a development environment and a delivery platform.

Why Engaging Learning?

One of the concerns was that things were changing fast even then (Flash was still very much in play, for example ;). However, I believe that if we systematically apply the principles in the book, we can do it (systematic creativity is not an oxymoron ;). How to write something that wouldn’t be outdated even before it came out?

Flash came about as a web-based lingua franca, where programs could run in most browsers with a plug in. As technology changed, so to did the platforms. Video discs and Computer- and then Web-Based Training emerged. Companies emerged to do them at scale, but things were changing rather fast.

Apple missing the small picture

I’ve previously discussed the fight between Apple and Adobe about Flash (e.g. Frankly, I haven’t missed Flash on my iPhone or iPad. They might have a great idea for an app, and they probably have or can get a Flash programmer, but won’t have the capabilities to develop separately across platform.
