Prototyping in eLearning

Upside Learning

Over the years, you have probably noticed that the typically linear eLearning development process has undergone some changes. One change that I’ve noticed are that customers are realizing that we aren’t just creating courseware or writing content and interactions, we are also developing software. This has led to an expectation that the eLearning industry adopt some development models and methodologies from the software industry.

7 reasons why the new Articulate Storyline is a Game-Changer for eLearning

Amir Elion (@amirelion) May 5, 2012. First, let me start by congratulating everyone who works for Articulate for the launch of Storyline. Undertaking a monumental job such as writing an application like Storyline from the ground up is no easy feat. However if there’s a company that can do it, that is certainly Articulate. This sentence from Stephen Downes post AWorld to Change best exemplifies one of the key drivers behind a conferencelike EDGEX2012: We need to move beyondthe idea that an education is something that is provided for us, and toward theidea that an education is something that we create for ourselves. With EDGEX2012 coming up just round the corner, I must say that I am super excited.
