A number of comments focused on how we now need to make training/e-learning more “engaging” or “effective” to recapture the interest of these people. Adopting a BYOL strategy will however require a different approach to learning and development.

Along with Alison Le Cornu, White published an article in 2011 that countered the Digital Natives and Immigrants ideas of Marc Prensky.
