Inserting and editing video in Adobe Presenter is as easy as accessing the Adobe Presenter tab on the Ribbon and then clicking the Video tool. I received an email recently from a new Presenter developer. Adding Sidebar video to a project is simple and I was able to talk him through it with a quick email.

For major video projects, or when I need to edit videos beyond just trimming I use Adobe Primer; however, when I needed to do just short Web cam videos or screen captures I would used other tools, mainly Techsmith’s Camtasia Studios. But the other day I downloaded Adobe Presenter Express and I was very impressed.

One thing I discovered on my most recent project is that in Storyline, you can insert a GoAnimate and have clickable items on top of it, on the same slide. I have a project under way in which I will add the same kind of functionality in Captivate. But in the meantime, I figured out I could do something similar in Adobe Presenter!
