In Adobe Captivate 5.5, PPTX files were converted to PPT files during import and therefore some features of the PPTX files were not imported into Captivate projects. Regardless of which application you use to create the initial document, you can make it into a form in Adobe Acrobat.   I use Adobe Illustrator to create my documents and then I save them as PDFs. When it comes to form fields, I add them in Adobe Acrobat (see my example below). Convert HTML pages to PDF.

I thought perhaps I could convert the videos to.wmv and re-embed them and see if that would work… nope. I tried publishing as HTML5 only and also as a HTML5/SWF hybrid… nope. However, when viewing the course on an iPAD the videos are static black rectangles and never progress.

Regarding 1): My project was originally created as a blank project and now I converted it into responsive. When i delete the.pdf,swf data from the zip, nothing will start. So far the only option I found to use captivate on moodle together with LMS is ths learning package. Here I want to publish it in html.

I first thought this to be a limitation of HTML5 (first article was for SWF output) and tested it out. On the last slide of the file you will see a Shape (rounded rectangle) which I converted to a Shape button. It is important to know that I am using version 11.0.1.266 (CP2019), Windows version and tested in Chrome/Edge and Firefox.

In 2017, Adobe made a formal announcement stating that from 2020 the company would no longer support Flash. Following the announcement by Adobe, major browsers including Google and Microsoft followed suit and announced that they would disable the plug-in in their browsers by early next year, thus, bringing down the curtains on Flash.

Some other things to note: The course was originally built in Captivate 2017 (10.0.0), but I have edited, converted, and published to Captivate 2019 (11.0.0). It works fine though if I use regular Multiple Chose Question Slides that are not linked to a pool of questions. Is there anything I should be doing to avoid this?

Those are SWF-based but will be converted to MP4 when publishing to HTML5. At this moment the biggest problem with software simulations are the slides which cannot be interactive because they show mouse movements/scrolling/dragging. At that moment FMR-slides (Full Motion Recording) are created.

By default the SVG converted to button is set up like a shape button: clickable area is the bounding box. Be sure I will write more in the future, need some time to explore in-depth., SVG as Button.
