After diving into Articulate Storyline and using all its features, I found myself having fun. Terminology – follows the Studio approach – which is too bad – example “screen” Create a new project. Directly from Articulate. I never found course creating on par with playing an X-Box game. Right Side.

State of the Authoring Tool Industry

I recall a conversation I had last year with some folks from Articulate who informed me that PowerPoint is an authoring tool. I’d love to see vendors have the mouse highlights over the term layers, actions, objects and so forth, so that the course builder could see what the terms mean – examples an added bonus. .

This solution reminds me of Articulate Studio in terms of its capabilities, but at a lower cost. 5 Epic – GoMo Authoring tool - Again an example of a cool product from outside of the states. 2 Articulate Storyline – I have to say that they are quite close to taking the number one spot, but they fall just a tad short. . #2
