As the rapid content authoring market continues to grow, new features and capabilities are equally growing. There are 124 authoring tools in my latest directory, of which 30 are SaaS or a combination of desktop and SaaS – which really what is the point of that? SaaS: Software is in the cloud, on the internet.

Then, you have to add your own data, fine-tune, and enjoy all the wonderful aspects that come with a free open-source LLM (which can rock, if you know what you are doing, but it’s input and output may not hit the range of fee-based LLM). To change it to a PNG, You had to download JPG as a web page image and then change it in whatever software you use to do so. Copilot from Microsoft is not ready for primetime. Microsoft is not the only vendor that offers copilots. Some are 100% open source, and others are open but commercial, where you pay token fees.
