Skype), Twitter or equivalent, Facebook and/or LinkedIn, Google Docs, etc, you really do need to get that experience going to really understand the opportunities. It’s been quite a while since I’ve blogged, and it’s not that there haven’t been learnings, it’s just that my dance card was too too full.  Social.

They get a customer service message from Mr Carroll’s YouTube video, they get information and help on their BlackBerry or iPhone, they network using LinkedIn and they participate in online seminars from home and in the office. We Social Learning on a shoestring. Hanif Sazen. So he wrote a song, made a video and put it on YouTube.

I do a lot of presentations where one of the topics is how to use LinkedIn more effectively as part of your knowledge work. In most cases, I will ask for a show of hands: How many of you have a LinkedIn Account? How many of you actively use LinkedIn? How many of you get really high value from LinkedIn? Generally 50-70%.
I recently discovered how I can effectively use LinkedIn to find potential candidates for recruitment. Unfortunately, a few of the people who responded did not have an updated LinkedIn profile. recommend that you update your LinkedIn profile with details of what you did in each job you held. Lost opportunity!
If you read my blog much, you know that I use LinkedIn quite a bit to help me find experts and expertise. And, I sometimes wonder what I did before I had LinkedIn as a resource.
for Learning Professionals , I've created a couple of screen casts showing very quickly how I use LinkedIn to find expertise. As part of the Web 2.0 This is my first time using Jing. Let me know what you think. FYI - the Jing object does not appear in the RSS feed. In other words, record my walk-through and conversation.
