Assessments? Still in existence Saba – Today? Saba – was the first vendor to tap into machine learning, with TIM. Ditto with courses you provided to your employees, association members, students and so forth. The data was provided. It was a crummy system IMO, dated, and that says something. Yet, very popular.

Saba Cloud – Saba is such a wild card here. Saba was once a kingpin in the industry, then dropped down, now, I think they are on the upswing again, so it is a system to keep on an eye on. Quizdom is also included too – very good assessment tool, and their built-in authoring tool could be sold as a standalone.

I identify the Big Dogs as SumTotal by Skillsoft (yes, that is the actual name), Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba, SucessFactors and Oracle Taleo (although, I ask myself who is using this and if you still are why?). However, I will say this: I like what Saba is doing. The system still – equally as Saba – needs some work.

Saba ties their one to their LRS and can capture the page. And tells me nothing, except feedback, which without actually seeing it, allows me to imagine what it could be.
