Video for assessment

One recent assessment method I have used is to get students to make videos. They are then asked to create a video (or other form of presentation) and show it to their classmates. Below are a small selection of the videos my own second year teacher education students have made this week around the theme of learning theories.

Video: The power and the story

He asked me if he could borrow a video cassette from my library to show to his group of students. I was curious and asked him why he wanted a video that was exactly 90 minutes long. He needed a video to 'fill the gap' so that the student nurses had something to do for an hour and a half. I was appalled.
