One flat fee – Appears in open source platforms. Be aware that an open source platform is just how you imagine it – you have to fully customize it.

I still believe this will be a winner in 2012, and that more vendors will jump into this space. Open Source Systems. Prediction. Huge explosion in SaaS based only systems.

I could go into this huge diatribe about the administration side, but in essence you really need a knowledge of technical to fully utilize it. I know Totara is going to say that the product is built on open source and the folks who are buying it know the technical aspects/Moodle and thus this isn’t an issue. Bottom Line.
