An informal poll in a LinkedIn group showed that most IDs and eLearning developers are already trying to represent diversity in race in the images in their courses. This can be a challenge with stock photos. I often use stock images for mini-scenarios. I’ve also seen silhouettes used for that same purpose.

If you have an image subscription, well and good, else look out for a royalty free stock library like Pexels and Pixabay. They are my favorite image libraries for free stock photos. It goes without saying that do not use copyrighted images. Avoid Text Overload. Do not overload them with text.

I honestly don’t know what we’d do without Slack, so much so that I think I should have bought stock in it years ago. I use the in-app polls for food requests, and we’ve created different channels to communicate important messages, like birthdays and anniversaries. Slack – Last but by no means least is Slack.
