Not all that long ago controlling what learners see first in Adobe Captivate published eLearning content was as simple as creating a visually-appealing first slide in the project. However, Unfortunately, the Auto Play screen isn't among your Filmstrip slides so there does not appear to be a way to modify or brand it.

Perhaps this is because older versions of PowerPoint (2003 or below) didn’t have as many graphic editing options as never versions (2007 or higher). However, newer versions add more abilities and previously hard-to-find options are more prominent. It’s even possible to save as a PNG with a transparent background.

Click the image to see a larger version. As I built the slides, I wrote the slide number by each node of the flowchart for future reference. To produce the slides and SWF, I used Keynote 08 ( not Keynote 09! Keynote is a slide editor for the Mac. There are no variables involved.

Import slides to iPhoto by choosing File> Send to > iPhoto. Note: In addition to an an iPod/iPod Touch/iPhone, you will also need iPhoto version 6 or later to complete this activity. Note: You have a choice of either JPEG or PNG from the Format drop-down menu. Click Send to iPhoto. Quit iPhoto.

It can be used as a progress meter, a main slide menu, or simple process interaction. There are two versions of the free elearning template: Storyline 2 and PowerPoint. The PowerPoint version is limited to a click-and-reveal interaction. The PowerPoint template is edited in the slide master. Button Set Icons (PNG).

Hello, In both versions of Cap 2017 and 2019, I’m having an issue where I’ve got a small png file, 75 kb, that I’m using as the retry message fill when someone gets a quiz question wrong. This is for T/F slides. It works fine for the incorrect shape. It works fine for the incorrect shape. No problems.

My solution was similar, though I used a large page-sized PNG with a window cut in it. However, if you don’t use a Skin, the video will automatically play when the user navigates to a slide. The solution I found was to “pause” the video on slide Enter using JavaScript in an Advanced Action. Controlling Playback with JavaScript.
