Vendors use it to refer to online courses/content. Vendors who use it? However, there are authoring tool vendors, who still think PowerPoint can be an authoring solution. Part of the issue is that Techsmith, isn’t great at pushing it beyond their web site, and the other issue is folks are unaware. Shame on them.

Sure there are vendors who do an exceptional job, but the fact still remains that the number one reason, people leave one learning system vendor for another is support/service. I talk to vendors all the time, who say publicly they have great support, but privately acknowledge it is either poor or below average.

A funny thing happened on the way to using GPT-4 last week, which I suspect that the vendors who have implemented GPT-4 and are using it as a statement/Q and A to the learners were not paying attention to. Turbo, which many vendors use that have OpenAI. The output file was a web page. The bug did not appear in either GPT 3.5

It can be if a vendor either built it into their system OR tapped into LAM (which is what takes a gen AI further – which you are unaware of, but it exists and is another AI option. The only way to get clarity is you have to ask the vendor. It should be. OR tap into machine learning (again AI). Say F500 or F50.

There are vendors that unless you have a minimum of 1,000 end-users (regardless if they are employees, customers, etc.) I know of vendors who will go below 1,000, but their “sweet spot”, the number they really would prefer is a minimum of 1,000. Now, if you want employee learning only, and you go to a vendor who only does customer training, then the initial “use case” rejection (politely) is understandable. The vendor is Skill Jar.
