Within higher ed, Im sure well continue to see growth in online, but it is starting to plateau a bit. The K-12 market is pretty wide open though, so theres lots of opportunities for rapid growth there.

Dont think of the objectives as what the ID or client would verbalize, think of them as a marketing promise to the learner. Belatedly, Im thinking that there are relatively easy ways to enable learners to have cake or to eat it as they see fit. That is one way we gain their commitment to move ahead and complete the course.

According to David Williams Shaffer , Wii’s are opening up a whole new market of gamers–I’ve had several colleagues who say their spouses NEVER played games with them until the Wii. Mostly men.
