Facebook is now the favorite website among tween (8-11) boys and teen (12-15) girls. Tween's playing a video game. Most of them do on a regular basis. In 2007, when children's marketing research firm KidSay asked boys what virtual worlds or online games they had visited in the past two weeks, 35 percent of boys aged 8 to 11 replied "none."

am an avid user of Facebook. use it so frequently that I do not realize how challenging and difficult it is to use Facebook. The first time I visited Facebook, I was just too confused and apprehensive to use it. It took me days to get comfortable with Facebook and use all its features effectively. What users want? Snagit.

Facebook seems to be coming up everywhere the past few weeks. The most recent, which finally got me to post, was a Stephen Downes post - I'm Majoring in Facebook, How about You? The class has each student creating applications in Facebook and presenting to potential investors. Why is Facebook so hot right now?

A few recent Facebook experiences from the realms of parenting: Don't Cop My Dress! Last night I discovered that Facebook now plays a major role in prom planning. Apparently the girls at my daughter's school have a Facebook Group --"Don't Cop My Dress." The Facebook" --My 21-year old is taking a new media course at NYU.
