Photo courtesy: DinosaurTypes.net What's Wrong With This Picture: Social Medians Extolling the Virtues of Social Media to Social Medians I attended a local social media conference a few weeks back. Ya gotta love it when local governments ride the new media wave. 0160;(I'm using the term "new media" intentionally because, well, can it really be "social," if there are no built in sharing features?) While I usually like flying above the radar. Learn more about what I do at MindBridj.com

By the way, I had a great local meetup today with a group of folks in a local social media group called the Social Media Mastermind group, Orange County (SMMOC). Below is one of the tutorials I posted in the Success Modules topic series on MindBridj. If you're in the Orange County, CA area, I'd definitely say it's worth looking into.

Unfortunately my memory never serves me well, so when I reach my destination, it's all about planning for each day and relying on little, contextualised information sources such as the Lonely Planet website , Trip Advisor , a local map, street signs and my own senses. I've been approached quite a bit recently to do presentations at local ASTD chapters or to help find a speaker. The reality is that I can't afford to do free presentations at local events.
