Although I have been using Lectora extensively for a few years, what I know was self-taught or learned through the example of others who use the software. Since we typically use this technique for software training, if the learners skip out of the simulation, then they have missed the instruction. That's a bad thing if your simulation contains vital content (and if it doesn't, why is it there?). Luckily you can use JavaScript to prevent this from happening.

As with any software application, there are a few challenges to using a text-to-speech tool: The voices can sound a bit robotic – Although not as bad as a monotone computer, you can tell that there is a robotic edge to the narration. Use Visio or other flowcharting software - Using Visio to capture the hierarchy as you work on it will give you a completed record of the hierarchy to use to communicate to your client group as well as use for a guide as you develop the material. Pass it to the Video Editing Software. If you can barely hear the narrator, you can use audio editing software like Adobe Audition or Soundbooth to fix it.
