#mLearncon session ebup3 and XAPI combined

Challenge to Learn

This was a session on the potential combination of epub3 (an Ebook standard) and XAPI, this way adding the activity capabilities of XAPI to EPUB3 publications. Both presenters have a standard background, which made this session a bit technical. It still in development, but will come available in 2015. Interesting stuff tough.

#Devlearn TinCan panel: #Tincan is rocking our world

Challenge to Learn

They will develop their standard CMI5 upon the TinCan API, making it an extension of TinCan. All the standard dinosaurs are transforming into new agile forms. Start dreaming and doing it and request (or force) your vendor that they will enable it (in the spirit of the keynote from John Landau.). And this is big!

#DevLearn retrospective: Start dreaming about the future of eLearning

Challenge to Learn

It will be a mutual challenge for the people who are developing this standard, for vendors and for eLearning developers. They changed the standard from a tracking and tracing system (Scorm) into a learning experience facilitator. So what to do? Let’s take a closer look at our challenge. Our challengers. The vendors.
